Single Adults

Single adults who are 25 years or older and seeking immediate shelter can call Catholic Charities - Higher Ground (formerly the Dorothy Day Center) at 651-647-2350.

 

Single adults who are 25 years or older, currently experiencing homelessness and not staying in a shelter, will need to complete a housing assessment via coordinated entry (CE) to determine long-term housing options.  Single adults in need of a housing assessment via CE can contact either Higher Ground at 651-647-2350, or Caroline H. with West Side Community Health Services at 651-793-2219 (to schedule an appointment) or by email: HOMELESS@WESTSIDECHS.ORG 

Caroline's current Walk in Hours for a housing assessment are as follows:

  • Mondays, 12:30pm - 3pm at Dayton's Bluff Library - Computer lab, 645 E 7th Street, St. Paul, MN 55106
  • Tuesdays, 1:00pm - 4:30pm at Mary Hall - Healthcare for the Homeless, 438 Dorothy Day Place - 2nd floor, St. Paul, MN 55102
  • Thursdays, 2:00pm - 4:30pm at George Latimer Central Library - 2nd Floor, 90 W 4th Street, St. Paul, MN 55102
